Still ****s. They tried and took a proportion of their own fans and being shown up by the big clubs to make them change their mind.
but they didn't furlough anyone hence the asterix <doh>

i PS you missed off the literally thousands of companies who have furloughed their staff and think if it wasn't for the publicity a sizeable number PL clubs would already have done it and still may .

Crucially though, Liverpool tried to furlough staff and would still be doing so if social media didn’t exist, and also crucially, the others you mention are speculative at best, some clubs are genuinely part of the fabric in their city, not a fraudulent shell with a catchy strap line.

Isnt broadband one of the most overpriced things on planet earth? Its ****ing expensive where I live and unrealiable as holy hell, Norway has notoriously gash internet.

They act like they dig broadband out the ground in wales and pump it to houses directly, its just a server.

yeah I was trying to make a comparison to some kind of finite resource like i dunno, uranium, which takes time and effort to dig up, refine and then use.... but instead I honed into the one thing they actually do. whoops <laugh>

i also have a grievance to spending money so, no wonder they've offended me somehow down the line.

It is a rip off for what you get from most suppliers mind.

I would like to throw a life line to Virgin here. they've always gave me and my family a fantastic service, I really can't complain. My Granddad was on an absolute gash service with them which was historic, like back when it was NTL, it was truly ass.

So he called Virign, they realised he was old and didn't have a clue and upgraded his entire package by a LOT for like £1 extra a month. He was buzzing. Guy even came round and helped him with a new modem.

Sports Direct should have been on everyone's boycott list anyway. Absolutely staggering that only now people have a grievance with their actions, they would be lobbying for a Southern US style slave trade if it increased profits by 0.1%.

I loved a weatherspoons burger on my lunch back in england, its a true loss to society.

I don’t see how they can be awarded it. What they going to do relegate the current bottom three as well? At least two of them stand a chance of not being relegated. The eurpean places too. United were on a roll and stood a chance at top 4. Null and void is the only option.

I find it's really easy to spend money with them, and incredibly difficult to get a price reduction - or even a coherent conversation with an agent about the deal you're currently on.
