just a thought, lads and lasses, but does anyone on here know if "Lindisfarne" supported either us or them up the road?I would suggest it wasn't us.One silly thought is that the way our neighbours are going,Lindisfarne should write a song just for them...the frog on the tyne is all mine, all mine!!!

They were featured in a BBC special about the Old Grey Whistle Test on Friday night - a clip from about 1971. Alan Hull (I think) was wearing an NUFC shirt, so I very much doubt that he supported Sunderland!

Strange coincidence, but I read this article earlier and thought nowt of it. I've been watching the first series of 'Life on Mars' and in the last episode, there's a song playing in the background that was quite catchy, so I looked it up and it was 'Meet Me On The Corner' by Lindisfarne. I found it on Youtube and it gave me a clip of none other than Lindisfarne appearing on the OGWT in a special on TOTP2. Someone call Mulder and Scully.

Only half spooky I'm afraid, Dave. Clip I saw was from the same session, but they were doing Fog on the Tyne. It's on You Tube, too.
