Cardiff
Another home tie <ok>... It's Burnley w/c 24th Oct

Full Draw:

Wolves v Manchester City
Cardiff v Burnley
Blackburn v Newcastle United
Arsenal v Bolton
Stoke v Liverpool
Aldershot v Manchester United
Crystal Palace v Southampton
Everton v Chelsea

Another 5 Prem teams will be going out. I know there are no guarantees and our squad isn't the biggest but should MM start to strengthen the Cup starting XI to try and progress (no disrespect to Burnley) or stick with the boys who've got us this far?

The Carling has been quite kind to us this season, 3 games, 360 minutes, 16 goals and 13 penalties so far. Great value for money too.

Okay Burnley (no disrespects intended to them) are not the biggest draw and we won't see a big crowd but a great chance of progressing to the last 8.

Mind you they may see it the same way too.

OK just my opinion and no disrespect to any side

But going through

Man City

Blackburn or Newcastle

Arsenal

Liverpool or Stoke

Man Utd

Chelsea

Southampton

We HAVE to take it seriously as IF we get through a draw against any of that lot home or away would be a decent payday for the club and a good fixture for the fans,
And with a rub of the green, well anything can happen in a quarter final <ok>

1. Agreed <ok>
2. 11 of the team that played in the CC game midweek featured in their last league game so either they're already going for it or their squad is similar to ours in term of numbers.

hopefully we can get through this fixture and we'll be in the quarters! imagine the sort of games we could be looking forwards to (and the accountants). it pays to take this cup seriously <ok>

It could be even better. We could get a draw at home and get 2 pay days, or we could get lucky and get Arsenal on a bad day and win, then draw another big pay day against 'Pool or Man U. I know, I'm dreaming but a someone said, remember middlesboro in the FA cup a few years ago.

KTF

Quite! All it needs is for the PL team to throw out the 2nd team and Cardiff to be on the top of their game and anything is possible <ok>

Thai, I think you're totally wrong here.

If we're fortunate enough to beat Burnley, I think Malky should put out a second eleven in the next round and concentrate on the Championship...<whistle><whistle>
