We have the “benefit” of being white but we are a very multicultural family. My kids are 14 and 11. Not a racist thought or bone in them.

I am 61 and have a ****ed hip, two places i work at are predominantly pakistani origin (around 80% with about 15% sri lankan) and the other Chinese (around 98%) respectively. I can't carry anything heavy through either company without someone insisting on taking it off me and taking it to where i need it, anywhere else no one gives a ****

If you read it you can see how a proactive country can control this without locking down the country. Sadly that option is no longer available to us.

What makes it worse for her is the fact that she probably doesn't have to face this as often as her parents did (a good thing not bad before anyone mis-understands) so would probably be more shocked/upset by it than them.

The fact that he both felt the need to racially abuse a 16 year old girl in public and that he was empowered to do so because.... something, is a reflection of where we currently are as a society.
