Okay, none of this is from me... I am trying to remember what this Dr said:
He said that there is no such thing as catching this virus. He said the only way stuff can get in is through the bloodstream... He got a bit technical there. Basically you can't get it from touching stuff.

Never have a vaccine as that is made using cells of bats/rats/dogs and then you introduce it into your bloodstream... So then you become susceptible to it at a later date. This is how you introduce viruses into your body (Flu jabs).
It's all to do with cells and only when you are run down it strikes. That's why some get it (older) more than younger fit people. The perfectly healthy people say a nurse (could be just run down) He mentioned how it was strange about the spread of the virus. ( I think he meant that it didn't spread to major Chinese cities). which I always thought was strange.
He then gave out 2 batch numbers to search online. .. it was something to do with vaccines that were created before the outbreak.
He said whatever you do don't trust the governments because they are turning us into a police state with new bills getting passed under our noses. He went on and said the whole thing is basically a con.
he ranted on a bit and said go out get fresh air /open a window because staying indoors weakens you and your immune system.

I went back not long after and it was taken down.

Sorry Woody what was I suppose to read. I only come on here in afternoons now, as I am trying very hard to get exercise by digging the garden!

So a few points, it is a bit worrying today
    1. Watford general saying they are full
    2. The care home in Scotland where 13 people died
    3. The fact UK is ACTUALLY HAS TRULY STUPID PEOPLE...burning down 5G masts and electricity pylons (because they can't tell the difference, they all look alike...sorry was that racist).
    4. Our death rate has increased again, but actually not quite as much as expected for about the 3rd day running.
    5. My friend with the sceptic leg still has not been treated

    On a lighter note:-
    I agree with Stan
1 Ferguson of IC is an idiot, was he also the one that said we would all get Mad Cow Disease and provoked a panic then too Not sure that was him, but it definately came from Imperial
    2. Really missing live music. I have already missed 2 festivals and 4 gigs. Live gigs don't really cut it, my broadband is just not good enough.

Anyway off for a short break to Bruges tomorrow, no hang on that was cancelled last week.
So I will be back tomorrow...but off to watch QPR play Middlesborough on e-sport now

    Come on you superhooopsa

i believe the euro has negative interest rates at the moment (at least in the short term markets). They certainly did last year. This might be the EURIBOR rate rather than what is offered by the banks to savers though

    Thanks Ellers...he sounds a nutter
"He said that there is no such thing as catching this virus. He said the only way stuff can get in is through the bloodstream.." It is a coronovirus...it gets in through any mucas membrane...mouth, nose, eyes. Rubbish.
So yes if some one sneezes in your face, you are going to inhale a lot of viral particles.
Coronovirus gain entrance to cells through a protein transporter called ACE (this diagram shows how and anti-ACE antibody might stop the virus from binding...a treatment they are trying)

Most vaccines are made in eggs although some are made in human cell lines.
They are never made in bats or dogs...can you imagine making enough vaccine for the UK in bats...how would you catch the critters!

I am sure if you are run down then you are more susceptible to disease, that is true of any disease in the world, but that is not the only reason why the elderly are dying. In age you accrue diseases, conditions, things don't work as well, it is a fact

"He then gave out 2 batch numbers to search online. .. it was something to do with vaccines that were created before the outbreak."
We have vaccines to the viruses to the SARS and MERS virus that caused the two outbreaks in 2002/3 and MERS 2017-onwards, although I am not sure we ever got a good vaccine to that one. There is no evidence that the SARS vaccine protects you from CoVid19.

The only thing I will agree with him on is "He mentioned how it was strange about the spread of the virus.". I agree the spread is rather odd.

How it took such a foothold in Northern Italy and then Spain. The link through the football match has been made...but even that seems strange.
Japan and South Korea seemed to hold it back, but Italy did not.

I wish I could have seen the original ..I do like to shout at things on the internet, had a good shout at a man this morning about there not being any chemtrails now....showed that their job is over...and we are all infected

The fifa game was just organised between the clubs as we were meant to play Boro today. It was the kid who was representing us in the charity tournament until recently.

The conspiracy theorist in me used to lap up the stuff about vaccines trying to control our minds etc etc.....

The medic now in me totally and utterly now agrees with your post.

millions of lives have been saved through vaccines and sadly, as more and more now are deciding not to take them up.....many more lives are now being lost

Loved it when the commentator said Bristol de Mai was back on his feet after falling. I guess they could have had some virtual covers quickly surrounding a virtual horse and a virtual bullet put in its head for added realism.

Just read something on LinkedIn from an Advanced Critical Care Practitioner (ie top class Intensive care nurse) from Kings hospital, who has been training staff at the new Nightingale place. She is very positive about it, but says it’s very much a volunteer feeling, and all the full time NHS staff (like her) are mucking in IN ADDITION to their normal shifts. I’d stress that she wasn’t complaining, but surely this is not a sustainable way to do this?
