After @Archers Road good bit of advice this morning I invested in some hair clippers. Only problem was they are about as difficult to get hold of as bog roll! So good tip by Archers, but a bit sooner would have helped <whistle>

Managed to get some online eventually, but got to wait three weeks, THREE FOOKING WEEKS! Best get the bandana out <laugh>
Ive got some and usually do my own.
Good thing now i suppose

It's crazy, you spend the first half of your life not wanting to lose your hair, and the second half of it, wishing it would stop fooking growing!

Currently facing my first hair recede at my age, which I hear is not abnormal.

Didn't prevent me from ****ting my pants though.

Btw I appreciate I’m going in on people at times in this thread but people I’ve conversed with will realise the turn I’ve taken in my views on the situation.

A lot of the people you see on the TV I’m hearing in my living room long before the 5 o’clock update. And the toll this is taking and the level of commitment, hard work, planning and distress that is happening all the way from the front line up to the very top is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. So when people act like no-one through the ranks gives a **** except those on the front line it pisses me off.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but the blaming and point scoring is totally unnecessary.

Spurlock’s Ramadan diaries 2020 coming soon
TV channels are desperate for content as episodes of Corrie and boxing bouts where everyone is 2metres apart are struggling to find advertisers that have no revenue coming in. If ever there was a time to film you starving yourself while you get stoned and then hopelessly wait at the door for an after daylight Ocado delivery that’s, at best, arriving with 90% substitutions that you’re not allowed to eat or drink (there was no Ribena but we upgraded you to a cheeky Claret, let it breathe for at least two hours, it’s fantastic with pork, which, by the way, you’ve got instead of chicken), then that time is now.

What a load of bollocks. Im all for slagging off government. I’ve slagged off practically every government in my lifetime at some point or another and never voted for either of the main two parties. Bunch of ****s as bad as each other. What I don’t like is people using a situation like this to politically point score.

You asked who was responsible and I gave you the job title of the guy within the nhs who is responsible. I can give you his name and email address if you like? There is no one department responsible because there has been huge temporary restructuring to create teams of the best people to deal with each aspect of the Covid response, so it doesn’t fall within normal departmental lines. There is however very much a team of people within the nhs (not the government) who are responsible for the PPE situation. And they are working really ****ing hard.

So when you say you aren’t counting off anyone in the nhs but you use the work of the nhs to slag off the government, you are slagging off the nhs. Whether you realise it or not. And I know that hard for you to process because you can’t comprehend that in your need to abuse the government you might have caught the left wings love child in your sights, that’s the reality of the situation.

And onto your other point - whether the government has dragged its feet in relation to its actions is a totally different conversation than the PPE conversation this started as. I’ve repeatedly said there will be mistakes made and people all over the world will regret not acting sooner, including our government. You’re pulling that into this because you’ve realised you got your arse handed to you on the initial conversation. I’m not in disagreement that this government has and will make mistakes, so will the nhs, so will business, so will individuals!

You're having an episode mate. Calm down.

You've not read anything of anything I've posted and just got all offended. Trying to grandstand.

The irony is in all this, the only person that ****ed off any part of the NHS was you.

I'm not pulling anything into "this" whatever "this" is in your head. My point from my first post to the last has been consistent. You just struggle to understand.

And the fact you seem to think any criticism of the government's handling of this is an automatic attack on the NHS is just lunacy mate. You can't seem to be able to separate the two, but that's your problem not mine. It's pathetic. Like saying the government's under resourcing in education is an attack on schools ffs <doh>

Anyway have a good night mate. Lets hope tomorrow is a better day for all of us <ok>
