I see what you are getting at but this is a poor example. Given the people involved seemed quite happy to meet in large numbers it's quite conceivable they acted the same way in other aspects of there lives. How many were incubating the virus when they walked in there and how many contracted it after they left by going for a meal or maybe a drink.
If you get a group of people who act the same way then you can expect many to face the same fate whatever that may be.

In that same article it reports. "The World Health Organization has downplayed the possibility of transmission in aerosols, stressing that the virus is spread through much larger “respiratory droplets,” which are emitted when an infected person coughs or sneezes and quickly fall to a surface."

That was a pretty big **** up because it has very potent aerosol transmission. No wonder some thought as long as they were not near each other, they were OK. Aerosol transmission and a hall of singing people, disaster

Out of interest, what is your main driver when you do your daily “no tanks on the streets of Baghdad” routine? Do you think you’ll be rewarded one day for being a loyal lapdog?

Also standard. You simply aren’t capable of/up to any kind of a discussion.

You are completely wrong on this. It is clear that the circumstances of a group of people inhaling and exhaling deep breaths in a confined space created an ideal environment for a group to become infected .

I wonder if that South Korean religious group went in for a lot of singing in their place of worship?

It would explain the rapid spread amongst the congregation.

I think I would tend to slightly agree with the theory of that article, that some of the transmissions may well be airbourne, and I think there are plenty of examples if we look close enough. Cruise ships would be one prime example of this. I find it hard to believe that everyone collects it individually via not observing the 2 metre rule, I would tend to lean towards, if you are in an enclosed space, where the air becomes more stagnant, then you are at risk of catching the virus. You really don't need any greater evidence other than that article though. Let's take Boris as another example and the confined space of Number 10, unless Boris was french kissing his cabinet, which I accept could be highly likely, again I blame the enclosed air space they were in. Jeez, imagine that, breathing the same air as Gove....

Dolly Parton pledges $1 million to Covid-19 cure research whilst Daniel Levy cuts the wages of non-playing staff at Spurs ... just the way of the world ... here's hoping karma rewards both appropriately <ok>

Majority of US news networks turn off the latest Whitehouse update when it unexpectedly switches from pandemic news to the war on drugs cartels ... unlucky Donald J ... more and more people not buying the deflection anymore you wiggy satsuma <doh>

He is such a weasel that guy, I find it hard to believe they allow him anywhere near a podium. He comes across as a Little Hitler, and I fear unless he chooses his words more carefully, he may well find that the public will not be coerced by his mannerisms, and this could end up blowing up in their face.

I have a bit of an odd theory on Gove. He’s a weasel, no question. He’s also very clearly a complete ****, as is his awful missus. But I think he’s on another intellectual level compared to most of the other lightweights in the Cabinet. I think he finds being part of their “team” and having to blurt out scripted mistruth after mistruth very uncomfortable which is why he looks awkward when he used to look super confident. Just a theory.

Hard to believe that some are still trying to argue that it's not much different to seasonal cold and flu fatalities ... Spain close to 900 ... and over 800 for the fifth day consecutively...

I'm surrounded by people at work, and we have the 'please stay 2n apart' tannoy every 30 minutes.

Luckily i'm one of the few trained people left, so spending most off my time loading the lorries. But there's so many new faces faces, wandering around like headless chickens.. It's like a chicken run.

One of the positives of the home working is that I don't get streams of text message ads from restaurants and shops as they detect my phone moving close to their outlets.
