I think the trouble in a lot of jobs is people are good at passing interviews but it’s known they’re **** at the job but still get itYou wouldn’t pay him in washers.
No common sense, no grasp of the situation, no communication skills, shocking decision making ( lack of )ability and to top it off a total lack of knowledge when it comes to the law.
Just what you need when you’re a Sergeant in the Old Bill!!
Total clown shoe.
Careful with your Arachnophobia...Who ?

Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020Have you got a link to the actual Law on exercise at the moment? (ongoing debate elsewhere...)
Great thread on why following the law, not Govt announcements, is importantThe fact he thought that was acceptable in the first place, and had still made the rank of sergeant speaks volumes on the attitude and recruitment policies of them as an organisation. They covered their arses by saying he'd had a talking to, but someone that has reached that level should never of had the actions he carried out in his mind in the first place. It's not an isolated incident either.
They really are in danger of ****ing up the good will that is essential for maintaining the current restrictions on movement. They Police with consent, and are simply members of the public in uniform, and I think as an organisation they need reminding of that, rather than this apparent perception that they are the law or a paramilitary force.
I'm afraid I don't follow - Are you spinning a web of confusion ?Careful with your Arachnophobia...

So contrary to government guidance,Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020

I’ve just readed that the UK death toll is wholly unreliable. Different NHS trusts are reporting in different time frames, some report once every few days, some are consistently a day behind etc. but whenever they finally get reported they all go into that days announced figures regardless of when the deaths actually occurred, which explains the big daily fluctuations.
On top of which no community deaths at home, care homes and so on, have been reported and some estimate this could be as many as 25% of the hospital deaths. The true death toll is higher than we know anyway.
For anyone interested.
So contrary to government guidance,
- sec 7 states that two people not from the same household ARE able to meet.
- Sec6 b dictates that we can take exercise alone or with other members of the same household (not just one other member).

Though how it is enforced and applied...So contrary to government guidance,
