<ok> these two work really hard for the team and one another. Could have an awesome season if they are given enough time together, which they should do as Shola and McLovin aren't near them and HBA will take a little while longer to be at full match fitness so for the foreseeable future these two will start the games

Pardew's seems to be amazing at building up the confidence of the team without making them too arrogant! I honestly agree with this. Well, they haven't shown anything to prove otherwise!

Only disappoint for me today was at 3-1 and after the sending off we went easy on Bb. They've beat us 5 times in a row at our place and we should have put in more effort to demolish them. Instead Best and Jonas and others were trying to score wonder goals, knowing the game was won. That's unprofessional. ManU doesn't stop playing at 3-0. They go on and on and that's a question of winning mentality it's how you really become winners.

I think Besties finishing is actually quite good. He should have scored the header, and with the bended effort he was trying to score one for goal of the month. Imo we should have tried to win at least 5-1 and put Blackburn on the spot more rather than just fiddling around and wasting time in the last 20 minutes.

Agree it was annoying that we didnt put Blackburn to the sword today and slackened off. Then again maybe the sense in keeping the ball, keeping our heads and controlling the game to a comfortable 3-1 win was logical bearing in mind the way we allowed a similarly poor side in West Brom come back to take valuable points off us at the end of last season. If one or two of the special efforts late on had flown in we would have been over the moon. They didnt but we sensibly kept our 3-1 lead anyway. Good stuff.

You really are an idiot! Pardew is just saying how much we have spent not how much we have made.

this. It's insulting for the fans who forked out money for match tickets when the team just play the clock down and don't make 100% effort.

Pardew said we've spent alot of money on our squad - we haven't.

We spent that money replacing the players we sold/released.

I would hope that was obvious - clearly not, and the irony of you calling ME an idiot is not wasted in this case <doh>...

Yes, and what did we spend it on? Expanding the squad or replacing the ones who had left?

I'd say a bit of both in some areas and not enough in others. We can't change the way things are and i'm sure you're of an age to realise we have to lump it but not necessarily like it.
Why can't we just enjoy our start and forget the **** for once,we all know Pardew has a silver tongue and more bullshit than a Madrid bull ring do we constantly need reminding.it's like some people just revel in the ****e side of things.

We've spent £20million on the squad this year. The value of the players bought = £20million, therefore, £20million has been spent.

He didn't say anything else. He just said we've spent a lot of money on the squad this year. That is fact, so how on earth can you argue against it?

I don't know why you're saying "BUT it was spent on replacing sold/released players" because it's completely irrelevant, and Pardew didn't say anything to the contrary.

    You've even contradicted yourself:

You've just stated that "We spent that money" so you're confirming what Pardew said, that we've spent the money - £20mill to be precise - which is considered a lot.
