I was watching the Watford v Forest game earlier (awful game). Watford shouldnt pose many problems for Saints next Saturday judging on what I saw apart from Sordell. But what interested me is that at HT they showed the goals from Brighton game and er.... no goals in the Middlesborough game but they didnt show the Saints game which makes me think it will be the main game tonight. Don't hold me to this but i'm hopeful we will actually get decent coverage tonight.
The main match tonight is the Boro v Ipswich game for some reason. No doubt Claridge will be jizzin in his pants at the prospect of reviewing a 0-0 draw.
I still think the Saints game will now be the main game - I know the Boro game was meant to be but it was the way Gabby Logan said "we'll see highlights of 2 of the top 3 teams now" that made me think that the one team that was missed out would be the main game
We seem to have had a better second half than the first half. I know stats aren't everything, but we certainly got more chances in second half. Still, don't think I'll stay up for our 30 sec, especially as goals have already been on Sky.
And Steve Claridge gave us some very nice complements about how we as a team have all stepped up to the next level. Was very impressed! What's he been smoking?!?!! COYR!
Possibly some crack. However, glad to see we are getting noticed. Also, if anyone is watching the football league show, has anyone noticed how little hair Claridge doesn't have on the right side of his head. Unbelievable Jeff!
I believe they used his twin today. At least its nice to see us getting some praise from the critics !
Ah... crap. The one time I decide to use BBC's facility with its bloody red button, in order to catch one of the rolling repeats of the show, the bloody red button channel [301 if you're interested, you don't need to press the f****** red button] has a technical fault. Plus it's too soon after transmission to find it on iPlayer yet. Great eh..?!
We'll have to take the chip off our shoulder..decent coverage and praise from Claridge. He also mentioned seeing us at the Birmingham game and being impressed. Have to say he was right in front of me at the JPT (with cameras) and took banter in good part and smiled a lot. Headline: Claridge smiles.
