You’ll only do it wrong. You’ll only have yourself to blame. <laugh><laugh>

I don't think it's responsible, probably more dangerous than fake news, as it is fact. I manage staff working fairly close to the front line, and I'd be very suprised if we don't all get it. They are obviously really anxious and scared. They could do with hearing more positive spin.
I guess bbc are trying to make people take the lockdown more seriously.

Malcolm Healey is listed as the owner, and as such is directly responsible for everything regarding the running of that company.

Moreover he also knows everything that goes on in his business, without doubt he is behind whatever happens at Wren.

Is Wren somehow involved in the kitchen worktop company in Market Weighton that went bust a month or so back?

it could be. i'm trying to find positives.

i've been trying to get an angle on how many unknown cases there might be. i read a report earlier by someone at a usa university who had calculated from two sources related to wuhan that 86% of cases went undocumented. on that basis, for each known case, there are another six where the carrier has negligible or no symptoms. using this to get a new number of infected people it meant there had been around 23,500 deaths from 3.7million infected people, making the fatality rate i1 in 158, although it's also true that there are many unresolved cases.

the differences between some of the figures for different countries are puzzling. different testing policies make the known cases figures difficult or impossible to compare. i've been following the daily deaths figures to see which countries might have turned the corner, although i gather italy's south might soon start to follow what happened in its originally infected north.

For those who like figures, this is a useful site for cases worldwide and further stats. It also gives cases and deaths on a per capita basis - looking at the figures that way (ie proportional to population), we’re doing ok. I mean every case is a worry, every death is a tragedy, but by the big picture it’s not yet as bad as it could be.

One of the reasons I am getting divorced is the silliness of the blame culture. Buy a shed. Build it. Stay there.
