Yep, that’s us on the frontline. Probably explains why we have over 700 off isolating at the moment.

I think it’s fair to ask questions of the government’s handling of this starting weeks/months ago.

I worry about the viral load for you guys in particular. No idea how many strains of this thing are out there and what can happen if they combine.

It’s a worry for sure. What’s more concerning is that we might be carriers who are transferring it to the sick and vulnerable.
Me and my crew mate constantly wonder if we’ve had it/got it/when we are gonna get it.........

Fair enough. Mistakes will have been made but I for one don't see the value in debating it now and actually contemplating not following advice unless there is a clear conflict between different bits of advice which confuses anyone. It's not an exercise of valuable rights for anyone to do just as he or she wants regardless of the consequences for the rest of society. Lock down might have come eventually but if some could actually think of others just once in a while it might not have been necessary just now. Blaming the poor bastard who has the responsibility to try his best to keep us safe is not helpful. Take your cue from the way in which political opponents are dealing with it.

That's a shame people do this because when my mum was seriously ill in hospital the staff we fantastic and the equipment and team didn't dress or look like that. Be nice to see a few positive pictures. My very good friend is a Sister (nurse) and she never complains and is always positive even with this virus. <applause> to her and her team at Royal Berks.

Spot on. interestingly the medical fella on TV said those who died were infected some time ago and the ones that will die in the peak (10 days time roughly) are already infected.

Yeah it’s a shame the staff on the frontline are concerned about the safety of themselves and their families due to the fact they are dealing with this without, what many feel, is adequate PPE....how dare they complain.

Well my wife, head of the nursing team in our local prison, is horrified at the lack of PPE they've been given and is very worried once the virus gets in there, whilst the prison officers are walking around in fully fitted respirators.

As I said I have never heard my nurse friend complain... never. Especially with the stuff she has to deal with.
My point is that positive pictures never seem to get posted or not often.

And you think the rest of the World hasn't had shortages? Read up on Italy, France and other countries that had problems.

Don’t think he’s asking for much. Just not to be unnecessarily exposed to a brutal virus at work.
