To be fair though on the economic measures this has all escalated very quickly and they’ve announced some good measures and we have to give them time to put meat on the bones. We just need them to be as quick as physically possible!

Being able to tell people who you’re putting on leave of absence what they can expect to be paid during that period is somewhat critical though, and whilst it’s a great measure at face value, the detail is important and how they’re intending calculating it would have helped a tad.

But only 80% government backed, if you get the full 100% then the company is paying out of it's own funds and good on them.

I'm already getting an extra weeks pay in June
Free meals in the canteen
And privledged shopping hours, that i won't use.

Indeed they can and remember well you having a laugh about all this and supporting the herd immunity nonsense less than two weeks ago.
Like i said a few posts back, i still support the herd resistance track. I have never laughed about this, just at peoples reactions on here.

It was the party line two weeks back though, so he was obliged to back it without a shred of understanding.

He’s now binned it off and is applauding the go to work if you want to ‘lockdown’

Did he say only essential workers could go to work? The guidance is to only go to work if you can’t work from home. I can’t view a property from home unless I’m viewing my own property but I already own that so don’t need to view it. I’m so confused!!
Fair point, i concede to you sir.

If it’s necessary for your work, like you couldn’t put it off to a later date, or do a virtual viewing etc... then you’d be able to go. It’s about asking yourself is it necessary or could you not go and still get by.

A guy I know who owns an estate agent business is doing virtual only viewings for the time being.
