Zac goldsmith along with wife of Michael Gove , Sarah Vine wade into the debate on covid19 basically calling anyone who does not agree with their Tory paymasters twats , the cracks are appearing, let's hope when this is over they are held accountable
I honestly hope to see a series of criminal negligence charges slung at the Tory front bench in the coming months, because at the very least there's watertight cases against de Pfeffel, Hancock and Williamson - and those are the easy ones...
Boarish is going to address the nation at 8.30pm. He's promised not to do a bad Hugh Grant impression this time. Maybe.
He says his announcement will be different from the others So he won't be advising people to hang around in large groups in the hope that they infect one another so we can speed towards that 60% threshold, thus allowing him to get Covid-19 done in just twelve weeks?
Has anyone decided where this "thing" started. We are told "China!" But how? Was it dorment in the ground until.....?...and why would the Italians be suffering so much? Another type of "Asian Flu" which did damage some years ago?
So the country's on lockdown, then. That was pretty well delivered, considering the message he had to give out. It'll be interesting to see what the police are actually allowed to do to enforce it.
Far, far too late but finally action befitting our plight and the madness of those who can't or won't see the effects of their selfishness.
Did he mention the fact that, two weeks ago, he was proposing herd immunisation? Or that last week the government advice was so clear his own father went on TV the next day to say, yeah, he was going to the pub? That's the thing with Twitter's tepid take blaming members of the public for going outside: the Tories spent six weeks dithering, not least with de Pfeffel poncing around on a tropical island at [citation needed]'s expense when things were kicking off in China, and when they were Doing Something it was usually issuing advice that conflicted with the advice given two or three days before or was the basis for a charge of corporate manslaughter
According to The Morons of Twitter, suggesting that sitting on your backside for six weeks without doing anything is not an approach any government should take is "being divisive" Does it really need to be explained to these people that, no, it isn't?
Funny! Democrats have voted against McConnell's "free money" package to the people (but probably to the rich!) Getting their own back for McConnel's letting Trump's impeachment die a death? Make's you think!
The other thing to be considered is how many police are going to be available, none of the emergency services are immune to this virus A friends wife is an A&E nurse, she told us Sunday that the PPE is not getting to the hospitals and they are starting to treat hospital staff now and the belief that this is a danger to the elderly and people with low immunity resistance is only partly true, people previously healthy in their 30s and 40s are succumbing as well Stay indoors and good luck everybody
I think the issue is that the Republican plan is bail out business, but let many of the workers survive on their own. The Democrats want the plan to include more support for working people. It's more than petty revenge I think.
The bill also blocked anyone from knowing where the money was going for 6 months and Trump didn't rule out his own businesses.
Some research facility in Britain offering volunteers 3,000 to be injected with a particle of the virus and put in a room for some weeks.
The Government have communicated this latest advice very badly. The headline on the Gov.uk site is 'Only go outside for food, health reasons or essential work' but the detailed advice says you can outside for "Travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home". Gove has said that construction sites can keep going which implies construction workers can travel to work. It's a complete mess. Surely what was intended is that only essential workers should be travelling. They could possibly make an exception for those who travel to a work site in a car by themselves and can then work without social contact such as gardeners.
I suggest the following be volunteered Dominic Cummings Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Matt Hancock Dominic Raab Gavin Williamson Priti Patel Michael Gove Therese Coffey
