This story was on the tele last night and the way it was portrayed was that they were poor unfortunate girls who wanted to get back to help but couldn't.

What the article doesn't mention is that they only departed for South America on March 13th. Bloody idiots as the travel advice for all Aussies to reconsider non essential travel had already been in place for a couple of weeks.

FYI, the golf course and car park was packed today.

Club house not open, changing rooms were...no rakes in bunkers, flags left in, cup upside down..

    Very cold but great fun..

Going for a round in an hour and a half. Lovely 20 degree day and only 7 bookings on the course.

Yesterday they had the annual Mayors Day and only had 2 thirds of the usual numbers.

Mate, there are literally millions of halfwits in this country who get their "news" from Faecesbook. Nothing surprises me any more about the IQ of our countrymen...

Daughter says to me that she didn't think she would catch it as she's young and healthy. She was quickly educated on the matter. I would add though her overall response to this has been fantastic.

    Sign of good parenting marra.

Here in Aus a few of the states have implemented state border closures and there is real concern that a total lockdown is imminent. Cue our 18 year old saying "****, im off to the bottle shop to grab a few of cartons, do you want anything?"

    Never been prouder :emoticon-0103-cool:

It sounds as though you really do 'fancy' her.

No bad thing though if your good lady still 'stacks up' in a few years at the same age. :emoticon-0105-wink:

    Another announcement today apparently.

Going to tell elderly to stay indoors as arseholes are still wandering about not giving a f@ck about what they’re being asked.

Im so f@cking angry about this now. Seriously how utterly stupid can people be. We are allegedly coming to point where NHS staff are going to have to choose who lives and dies. When will this sink in to some people's thick skulls!!

Just been reading this, 'Spanish Government has just announced the lockdown has been increased by another 15 days to run after the original 15 day lockdown finishes.' That's at least 3 more weeks from today. Totally expected to be honest but when the reality kicks in it's hard to accept.
I go out once a week to shop and that is all I do, the only people I see apart from when I shop is when I put out my rubbish in the community bins and we have a quick chat from a distance.
I've tried to include a link if it doesn't work I'll delete it.
    Stay indoors and stay safe.

Blimey I first thought sna ment some acronym I was not familiar with.

This winter has been mostly westerly winds wet and a little warmer. The 'Beast from the East' was a east wind, bringing the white stuff from the steppes. Cold east winds atm mind.

Bored...got some logs to cut up for next winter other than that nowt to do.

The housing secretary has already said this morning they will have to consider lockdown if idiots don't start listening. Well believe me, it's coming, because we are a nation full of ignorant know it all's. You even have some people saying I don't care if I die, when it's my time it's my time! Ok, well **** off and die alone then arsehole and don't put others at risk who do want to live!
