@lardiman, I used to live around the corner from Brian Murphy.

I often passed him walking his dogs/in Bromley High Street.

'Summer Holiday' morning TV for the kids...

Noel Edmunds Multi-Coloured Swap Shop :emoticon-0171-star: just because it was so corny. But a ground-breaker in its day.

    Flash Gordon :emoticon-0171-star:

I remember watching Love Thy Neighbour. I wouldn't mind it being shown again but a few thousand others would, and they'd bombard the BBC/ITV with complaints.
The same goes for Mind Your Language or most of the rest of the list I posted, to be honest.

A couple of shows I missed from my previous post...
(in addition to those mentioned by others)

    Porridge <ok>
    Les Dawson <ok>
    Bottom <ok>

The following were not perhaps always the very best (in my opinion), but maybe worth a re-run anyway...

Monty Python :emoticon-0162-coffe Occasionally brilliant, but very hit-and-miss sometimes.
    Open all hours:emoticon-0162-coffe
    The Likely lads :emoticon-0162-coffe
    Only when I laugh :emoticon-0162-coffe
    Hi-de-Hi :emoticon-0162-coffe
    Citizen Smith :emoticon-0162-coffe
Some mothers do 'ave 'em :emoticon-0162-coffe
Men behaving badly (series 1 with Harry Enfield in it) :emoticon-0162-coffe :emoticon-0165-muscl

    I loved that!

There is a 'Banana Splits' Movie out on DVD.
It's recently made, and is actually a slasher style horror comedy - definitely not for kids.
It has the original costumed characters in it, but behaving rather badly I gather...

Being a young science & sci-fi geek I always wanted the inventor bloke with all the gadgets on his car to win...

Racism can be funny. So can xenophobia. Terry's stag night on The Likely Lads when he went through a list of nationalities and dismissed them all in a single word was hilarious.

Who was your favourite Angel ?

    It’s a photo finish IMO.
