Really tempted to put a status like this on social media... Isn't great to see; all the kids on our street playing kiss chase really takes me back to my youth ...
When the inevitable lockdown hits, they should make road workers 'key workers' so they get resurface the ****ing roads!
Had emails from supermarkets all saying they are having early hours shopping for the elderly, the vulnerable and NHS workers which is good news. Our 80+ year old neighbour asked us yesterday if he could get us anything as he was going at 7 a.m. this morning. We've been doing his shopping for him and he wanted to return the favour.
Just proves that most people are decent, just a small percentage of sh*ts ruining for everyone, but has that not always been the case
should point out our Sainsburys on Friday on the first day of this had some empty shelves when we entered and others like fresh meat were pretty bare .
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the available stock atm. Sometimes mid afternoon there are lots of fresh veg, plenty of bread and milk and bare shelves where the tinned goods usually are. Yesterday at 9 a.m. there was no bread or milk which you think is delivered early morning. Several visits usually gets us what we need that would normally be done in one visit but no complaints really from me apart from the stockpilers making it difficult for everyone.
I think I will buy fresh veg at the open air markets, or get it delivered. Not so much for myself but my daughter has a lowered immune system due to the drugs she takes for a heart condition which means she has little chance of survival if she catches it
Just heard that one of the pubs in the village I grew up in as been open today. Also seen that large groups have been to the beach. Dickheads, the lot of them are dickheads!
Idiots are why we're now on course for a worse impact than even Italy please log in to view this image
I live in a little coastal town, it's been desolate for months. This weekend however, cars and people everywhere. If this was a normal weekend it would still be quiet, but tell people they are only allowed out to exercise and suddenly everyone must hike down the ****ing coast.
Boris says letters will be sent out to the village highlighting their need to isolate and added that communities need to pull together a d support these individuals. This includes considering them when shopping. They also ask everyone else to respect the guidelines and not to go out if it can be helped. All well and good accept there is nothing on the shelves and when there is, we're restricted in the amounts we can buy. How are you supposed to buy for your neighbours AND minimise outing etc?
