Excellent Game again from the toon.

Krul - 5 - In fairness had little to do, could do nothing with first goal
Simpson - 8 - Linked well with Obertan for crossing
Colo - 8 - Solid as ever crazy that he was so bad first year he was with us
Saylor - 7 - Solid defence , had a quiet game agains Yakubu
Raylor - 6 - Gave away the ball for Blackburns goal, and never really looked lively
Guti - 7 - Did what he needed to do , toons focus was the other side
Tiote - 8 - Solid as ever great assists and passing and no yellow card!
Cabaye - 7 - Quiet first half, shows increasing ability
Obertan - 9 - MOM for me . Superb game kept running, confidence is building, end product needs working on , but looking good
Ba - 8 - Glad to see a hatrick for the lad
Best - 7 - Worked hard, lucky to not get on the scoresheet, need to work on his finishing, looks very promising

HBA - 6 - Had little time to make an impact but shows lack of gametime with his control

Marveaux - 5 - Had no time, would love to see him start though.

Not sure Obertan should be a 9 for me, his best match for us by far but I think to an extent Givet made him look good. Maybe down to 8 for his, still inconsistant, end product.

    Otherwise <ok>

Krul - 6 little to do but did nothing wrong

Simmo - 7 Had a very good game attacking wise, couple of sloppy passes for which there is no excuse
Colo - 8 Controlled the defence
Tayls - 7 Can't remember him doing much, which is a good sign if you're a defender
Raylor - 6 Again sloppy at times, but filling in a LB admirably

Obertan - 8 Poor in the first half, but awesome in the second. Hopefully his confidence will grow from this
Cabaye - 8 Swiftly becoming my new favourite player. Tough tackling with an eye for a pass and always available for the easy ball. Love this guy, the new Solano in terms of popularity!!
Tiote - 8 After a poor start (by his high standards), he's BACK!
Guti - 7 Less involved that Obertan, but a good game nonetheless
Ba - 9 Not only did he score 3, he dropped deep which is what one striker needs to do and looked to create. Like the look of this guy
Best - 7 Probably should have scored but got into the right areas

Pardew promised him a 'special treat' if he managed to score today

If he gets too many Ranger's gonna hunt him down, he needs to keep a low profile!

And so the unbeated run continues. A solid performance, that was bliped only for a moment of lax concentration fom R.Taylor. Ba was superb and the long awaited arrival of Ben Arfa was the icing on the cake.

Krul - 6: Nothing to do
Simpson - 6: Was ok, looked a bit fragile every now an then
Coloccini - 8: Solid as Ever
S.Taylor - 7.5: Solid, a bit less so then Colo
R.Taylor - 7: Playedwell, apart from two moments in the game, one of which where costly
Obertan - 7: Was great first half, ok the second
Cabaye - 7: Was ping the balls about nicely
Tiote - 8.5: Well its Tiote
Guitterez - 7: Well its Guitterez
Ba - 9: Superb, showed what all the fuss was about today, great performance
Best - 6: Outshone by Ba, missed two good chances, has had better days.

Copy and paste from my thread, as u beat me to it :)

I thought Best looked class today. His link up play is great, he doesn't give the ball away and was outjumping Samba all day. Got good feet two, made himself a chance beautifully just like v QPR and just needs to take a bit of power of when he tries to shoot from outside the six yard box where he's picked up most his goals.
Obertan was exciting and more direct, linked up well with Simmo but hasn't brought real end product yet.
Jonas was better but has been underwhelming so far this season.
Simpson had his best game of the season and Tiote looked back to his best bar a few sloppy passes which have always been a part of his game unfortunately.
Ba will kick on from here and Ben Arfa looks sharp already.

Let's keep this unbeaten run going: very plausible against Wolves, Spurs and Wigan going in to the biggest test away at Stoke.

I will say the commentator was right about them showboating, 10 men under confident, hit at them thats what i say , finish them off. its a little frustrating to them get boyued by a few cheers after every pass, get the ball up there.

    My ratings :

Krul 6 - Nothing much to do apart from that Holiet goal.
Simpson 8 - Linked with Obertan quite well and was a threat down that right-hand side with his crossing and pace.
Colo 8 - Controlled, mature, classy and effective. Very good display in general.
Saylor 7 - Solid in general.
Raylor 6 - Defensively he still looks very suspect but attacking-wise he was OK today(1 or 2 really good crosses).
Obertan 9 - Yes he's inconsistent, lacks end product at times and can be frustrating.. but surely this was his best performance in a Toon shirt?
Tiote 8 - Excellent all-round display. Broke up play, got forward and his partnership with Cabaye is getting better and better per game.
Cabaye 7 - Same as Tiote but instead of excellent.. he was ''Good''. Quiet first-half but improved in the second.
Guti 7 - Quiet game in general. Looks to have lost a yard of pace from last season..
Ba 9 - Looked the complete forward in this game. Threat on the ground, in the air and overall showed why he gambled on him despite his injury record. (MOTM)
Best 7 - Should have bagged atleast 2.. was wateful today but his overall game & performance is improving. His movement and overall play was very good.

Ben Arfa 6 - Showed decent skill and technique..
Marvo 5(not much time to make a impact)

Krul - 6 (Nowt to do really)
Simmo -7 (hes coming on nicely, linking up with Obertan well and getting forward more recently)
Colo -8 (expected performance for Capt Colo)
    Saylor -7
Raylor -7 (Apart from 2 sloppy moments played and defended solidly)
Tiote -9 (MoM was excellent ..and no traditional yellow either which is a plus)
Cabaye -7 (Quiet but got stronger as game went on)
Jonas -7 (Solid, doing a good job of protecting Raylor)
Obertan -8.5 (looking better each game ..still needs to get his head up at times and not switch off when defending)
    Ba -8.5
Best -8 (Didnt have his shooting boots on but played really well the ball stuck to him ..take note shola and pulled the defence about)

    HBA -6.5
    Marv -6 (not enough time)

Krul rating a bit harsh. 6 for average.
Simpson no way deserves an 8. He just cant defend. And now it seems obvious he doesnt have a left foot either.
Obertan was a threat all game....however he should have more confidence in himself. The amount of times he should have just put his head down and drove at their shocking backline. Instead he just gave it to someone else to deal with it. The old 'kick and run' could be his best weapon. You aint gonna stop him. Lightning.

Raylor deserves higher than 6. Some of his tackling and support play was brilliant. He gave the ball away for the goal but to be fair, there was a long time between them scoring and him giving the ball away. At least a 7 for me.
