Where as the Tory's just make **** up and put it out themselves https://metro.co.uk/2019/12/10/inve...ry-ads-misleading-compared-0-labour-11651802/
Fair point Goldie, however you'd think the conservatives themselves really should be verifying official stuff they had been putting out and a lot more damaging than a random commenting on what Johnson may have said. Anyway I do take your point and it is totally just.
Appears to be across lots of different media sources including the Mirror and the Metro with no retraction and no objection. By the looks of it Boris has shown an appalling lack of diplomacy and made very unwise comments under the circumstances. Whilst it's not conclusive proof it does appear to have happened, I hope nobody would defend his comments, if Corbyn or any Labour, Lib dem, etc... had said the I'd definitely have the same opinion
Agree, if he did say it, he's put his foot in his mouth again. But long term, he'll be judged on how he presides over the Corona virus catastrophe
The bloke is an idiot. I get to an extent why he’s popular in normal times but clearly ill-equipped mentally for the situation he’s in. I think he and Trump have realised they’re out of their depth and the adults are taking over, thankfully.
Cummings has plainly come up with a new 3-word slogan for government ministers. 'Whatever it takes' sounds reassuring, but actions must match the words.
And you know for absolute certainty that Cummings is responsible for the ministers phrase, or maybe it’s just a saying used daily in the English language, or is it just more Tory bashing
I don't know it was Cummings of course, but it certainly has his stamp on it because it's being repeated ad nauseum. You can't govern by catchphrase.
Oh I dunno. 'Magic money tree.' 'Strong and stable'. 'Unleash the potential'. 'New Labour' and from over the pond those old stand bys. 'America First'. Repeat slowly to make sure your followers (who have rushed out to buy every single gun they can lay their hands on) have understood your complicated message If they still don't get it try this one. 'God bless America'
I said previously that those survivalists in the US will be creaming over this. It's what they have been waiting for.
As you and the rest of the Tories insisted on blaming the 2008 global crash on Labour, I hope you will all accept that the upcoming 2020 crash should be blamed on this Tory government.
