Did you do some at Wetherspoons today? Lovely little crayon packs on offer in there.

Lol, no mate, Richard, and as I say it’s a shame because I like the bloke, but I really didn’t want what he’s got, and if I got it I might pass it on to my workmates, and they might pass it on to their other half’s and kids, so I consider myself pretty much a hero <laugh>

It depends on the school and how old your kids are, ours are using google classroom to send work out daily. If not, they'll be sent home with a pack.

If they're due exams, then google old exam papers and get them doing a few questions from each topic (Reading, Writing, Maths or if secondary, whatever they've chosen) every morning.

In the afternoon, teach them to play chess. Or hustle pool. Or blackjack. Invaluable skills.

This is the kind of education they really need. By the time my daughter goes back to school she will be ready to get her hotwiring badge and her advanced swearing badge.

Your grandkids are the real silent heroes. Passing up sweets for the greater good without complaints. A real inspiration.

There’s maths involved if they score correctly! :emoticon-0148-yes:

I’m going to focus on the offside rule with my daughter. She’ll thank me later in life:emoticon-0103-cool:

I'm going to have to look after my one year old, so I've been writing up a syllabus for her. There's an awful lot of Football Manager in there but if she's anything like her dad, she'll piss it no danger. Though to be fair, Hey Duggee seems to have everything she needs; hyperactive hippos and a crocodile that looks like Steve Merchant, what more does a growing infant brain need?

Get 'em juggling! Great for the hand-eye coordination and it's always good to have a party piece. My daughter and me have spent hours in the garden just throwing and catching, then practising 3-ball juggling. She's 21 now but she can catch and juggle like a good 'un!

If the measures to contain the virus had to be fair they'd be even harder to devise.

Doesn't matter, it's on youtube, your daughter'll pick it up quicker than you!

Got to get proper balls though (as it were...).

I think you'd have been fully justified in telling him to get his personal hygiene up to scratch!!! If he didn't like it tough titty!!

So there's a 'likable' old bloke in your village who gives sweets to children whilst blowing his snorter into a tissue?
