I thought I read some where any cases longer than 3 days wouldn't happen for now.

There are around 60+ countries that have zero infections. I can't find the list atm but I think Djibouti may be on it

Before the lockdown, get a ticket out there... not for 7 days, at least a year until it all blows over

 

How many of them are still letting us in?

 

It’ll be interesting to see how long that line of thought lasts when people realise it might mean they are losing their homes or can’t afford to feed their kids.

I don't think people will lose their homes. It will be a worry at first until enough of us are all in the same boat that it becomes unenforceable. Keeping everyone fed is another matter. If people going hungry or having no utilities gets widespread enough everything will break down - army or no army. That is why they have to legislate to make sure it doesn't happen. We don't need to rely on them doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. They need to do it to maintain society.

The governments actions in relation to the economic difficulties of shutting down to stop the virus will have big consequences for a lot of people. We’ll have to see what else they come up with over the next few days.

Maybe just take the advice? If the most vulnerable at least follow the advice we might lighten the load on the NHS and make things go more smoothly!

So many older people or those with health issues refusing to listen to advice at the moment. Yet they are the ones most likely to need the ICU beds, ventilators and staff attention that we know is going to be stretched.

I get all of that (and I’m not old ffs ) and it’s of course correct.

I’m playing it by ear, there’s currently zero cases in the area where the business is, this will obviously change, and when it does I’ll have to do the sensible thing. In the meantime, I’ve got an entire workforce to protect as well as myself. Over a hundred families short / medium term financial futures are largely in my hands. I can’t let them down.
