I have been doing 1 day a week at a special secondary school (mainly SEMH and MLD) so mostly ASD and ADHD kids. I have to say it's my favourite day of the week. They are all great personalities and all very different, I honestly feel more attached to them than primary mainstream. If the special school stays open I'll happily continue to go in.

    Feel exactly the same.
Never stay anywhere for more than 4 years in job (been working since I was 16...37 yrs ago) but I am into my 5th year and have no intention of leaving.
The work is really hard but very funny and hugely rewarding.
The staff team are brilliant...my back is **** at the moment but as soon as I radio for support with a violent kid they are there in an instant!
    Stay safe mate

Today I’ve had conversations with people in senior positions in small, medium and very large businesses and some of them are preparing to take pretty drastic action. What the government decides over the next handful of days will have huge consequences for the economy. Massive job losses and businesses folding is just round the corner. We need measures to allow companies to cover payroll without laying off staff, the loans won’t be good enough if this lasts for any amount of time. Good first step but it’s going to require more if we want to avoid some massive problems.

I think you me have been on the same wave length with this topic. I'm still waiting to hear some clear news on how this voucher scheme is going to work for children that have free school dinners. It's a good to know there will be something in place, but now just need to know exactly what - not that i've got kids at school, mine are all grown up, but it's not the point, it still don't mean we shouldn't care.

Yeah probably. Mrs is now working from home until mid June. Another reason not to self isolate just now.......

Looks like London is way ahead on the upward curve than the frozen North. Which means it’ll all be back to normal down there, while us Northern monkeys catch up.

    Standard.
