If they'd done it properly it the first place and not wasted so much time, they could have put more efforts into current needs

used to just "park" the trolley in an aisle then zoom up & down grabbing stuff and lobbing them in the trolley as i passed .Turned round one day to see some fella rifling thru the contents of my trolley so i went over
    me "err what you doing?"
him ,still going thru my stuff, "got any soup"
    me "nope"
    him ""bloody typical"
    then he wandered off

only thing i could come up with was he thought it was a collection of reduced items or something but still totally bizarre .<laugh>

When you crack them open there's a bog roll inside.

I will take every positive I can atm. If there's plenty of chocolate available then cows are still producing milk and the grass is still growing to feed them.

Went shopping today, I've been ****ing dreading it. Hate shopping at the best of times but thought the mad max times would be even worse.

Well, let me tell you, it was an oasis of calm, everyone very polite and stoic all the way round. Then we came to the big roll isle.

Bloke picks up the last 4 packets, thought it was going to go ****ing nuts, but no, he looked around seen the 2 people looking disappointed and actually ****ing shared them out. Gobsmacked and faith in humanity restored somewhat

Indian bloke who runs a small supermarket near me broke open his last few packets and put them on the shelf, telling people that anyone who was desperate could take a roll for free.
    Not everybody is a ****er.

It's nice to be reminded of the fact that most people are decent, I can honestly say today was a good experience, seen a few things that made me smile.

A bit of courtesy and kindness.

Also saw a bloke half submerged in the shelves rooting about for a tim of baked beans and sausage, the triumph in his face as he arose like a God with two clutched in his hands, only to turn to despair as they turned out to be beans and vegetarian sausage.

Panic buying and yet still fussy.

Mate, since I last posted and it was all doom and gloom, I've had a few Rays of hope that we may come through.

Sometimes decency comes from the most unexpected of sources.

In fact I shall expand, my business has had to close down 90% , I've got a bit of saving but not loads.

Main outgoing is rent for the shop, bumped into the landlord got chatting and it obviously came round to can I pay and how long for.

Told him probably ok for the next 2 months at push. Now I expected hand ringing and warnings, instead I got, have you got enough money for the kids (I've got 4). Again I said it's a struggle.

Hes only deferred the rent, "look after the kids, we will sort it later"

    I nearly started crying.

Good luck mate, I genuinely feel for you.

Make sure you get your 3 grand grant and at least you’ll get a business rates holiday (assuming you have to pay it)

Fingers crossed you can see it through fella. <ok>

Compare that to Lidl here on Tuesday. No baked beans, so the Unit picked up 2 tins of beans and sausage. Bloke after her picked up 2 ****ing cases. Unit challenged him and he said no one cares about him, so **** them. **** <grr>
