Dodger and I speak fairly regularly on the phone to exchange views. If any current member of this forum has a question that they would like him to put to Heller, I would be happy to pass it on.
If you found a tenner in the road you’d complain it wasn’t a £20 He’s posted the text exchange with Heller & he’s spoken with him tonight. CAST would still be forming a sub committee at this point.
More lies from the board? How can we trust anybody. It doesn't matter what they say. The embargo is still on. We're buggered.
I heard him. He phoned up to ask Simon Jordan's advice on players' contracts. He didn't mention Southall, did he?
he did. he said as far as he's aware Southall was still chairman. but... he's probably not been at the training ground much as all the players have been given time off. i'm not sure the season can continue into july. if the players dont agree to extend their contracts then we cant fulfil our fixtures (14 out of contract, 6 loans)
The most likely outcome as I see it now is that the club goes back to Belgian ownership. Now that we know the takeover has not been finalised, and are 90% certain that Nimer doesn't have the cash it's just a matter of time. After that who knows how he will react?
CAFC was made a basket case by Roland in 2016. Now it's a laughing stock again. And probably heading for closure. But because of Coronavirus we won't be the only Club going to the wall. By July I wouldn't be surprised if at least a quarter of the 92 are out of business. There will be a lot of 'AFC' Clubs joining the local pub leagues during the next year or so. Not that there will be many pubs left.
Rich Cawley reporting that there could be a legal challenge to the takeover deal agreed between Duchâtelet and Extremely Skint Investors. “The only party who appears to be in a position to take such measures is the club’s former directors” Surely this doesn’t include Judas, who is said to have introduced ESI to RD in the first place?
Muzza's revenge on Duchatelet - to force the old Belgian Scrote to take CAFC back and feel responsible for meeting its running costs again
