From what i've heard of it you are probably ok TSS, unless she had a raging temperature and was annoyingly coughing every 2 seconds. I don't think most infected people would be able to get out of the door.

Totally missed this one. Didn't get sent it by 38 degrees.
Anyway signed. Everyone will need an opt-in/out permanent UBI within 10 years in any case. This would be an excellent rehearsal and to gather some data too.

Unfortunately people feel the financial pressures of not being able to afford NOT to work.

Im lucky in that if the worst comes to it, I have a lot of savings sat there. Unfortunately some people feel the financial pressure of still needing to pay the bills.

Oh no, she had a temperature all right. You could see it. She was pink with it. Besides, she's normally as fit as a butcher's dog, and today she was drained.

She doesn't have that excuse. She's just a workaholic.

Did you notice her coughing or sneezing over things at any time? as that is the most likely way she would transmit any virus she was carrying.

I believe you might be right. I've read from the odd expert in the field that people with good immune systems are able to carry it around like clones of Typhoid Mary [my words], largely unaffected themselves.

We have surfaces about the place that people will inevitably touch and transfer. For the last fortnight we have been cleaning those surfaces twice a day and sanitising hands. We make medical equipment, so we won't be closing down any time soon. I think we'll be wearing masks within the next few days. It won't stop it, but it will cut down the spread of the virus.

Yeah, there's a huge gap between deaths as a percentage of confirmed cases and the presumed death rate among all actual cases for that reason...authorities think that up to 75% of people getting the disease are either asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic to the extent that they don't seek treatment. Which is good news/bad news: means a lot of people unwittingly spreading the disease.

Many years ago, I used to play at a site called Conquer Club...had completely forgotten about it, but got an email from them a couple days back, so I guess they're still in existence.

I'm other news my boy developed a cough over the weekend, no temperature or anything but told to have a week off school. His mum got a call today to say it should actually be two weeks that he stays at home.

Not really sure if that's supposed to apply to me or not.

It applies to you if you have been in contact with him. Same for any child sent home from school.

Being contagious, infecting others doesn't always mean the symptoms are obvious School age can feel fine but pass the virus on to vulnerable grandparents. Managers will need to carefully monitor staff to root out the irresponsible stiff upper lippers.

If you are trying to continue working, then do not have contact with him.

    ^^ This

You really don't want to be a carrier that could kill someone's dad, mum, nana, grandad etc.

We've been told by the school, if they send the child home it is a expected case and we have to quarantine. As 40% of the class didn't turn up today and the teachers are acting weird, we have given the girls the option to carry on.......or face the wrath of my homeschooling! Haven't had a response as yet! <laugh>
