Rates suspended for a year on all shops, pubs, restaurants, theatres etc.

Cheap loan fund set up for businesses, total fund value £330b.

Three month mortgage holiday for anyone in difficulty due to Coronavirus.

A surprisingly robust set of measures.

I feel for a Polish friend of mine who works in Sunglass Hut at Heathrow, She desperately needs the job, one 13 year old child, no husband and she works outrageous shifts. Can you believe there is no sanitiser available in Heathrow or her shop and she is not allowed to wear a mask... Some ****ers want stringing..

    Not really...

'Our toilets and washroom facilities remain open and stocked with hand soap for you to use, and further to that, Heathrow has installed over 200 hand sanitiser dispenser locations across the airport in response to the Coronavirus issue. These facilities can be found in all areas of the terminal including in the security entrance areas, toilets, and main concourses'.

Blimey – and so he should do.

He boarded at Winchester - currently 40k pa fees – more than most of the country earns per year.

Not seen full detail yet, but heard the mortgage break option. Is there any proviso for those who rent and are very vulnerable?

Just be sensible, be as clued up as you can, (Yes I know there are many conflicting reports and conflicting advice). Just look out for each other if you can.

I'm just a layman when it comes to this, but wouldn't it be a lot cheaper and better to spend much less money than £330 billion on a mass testing approach and then allow those who are negative to go about normal life whilst paying those who are positive to stay at home for two weeks and track them via phone to ensure it.

Help what? Show the world exactly how self centred we can be, given we're the sixth richest country?
