Regardless of that goal, we've still got the best defence in the league. Which looks quite good considering we're six games in.

Hopefully Benny will come on if things aren't going to plan.. same with Marvo and Sammy.

 

Good first half...Controlled it and looked most like scoring again.

A Taylor mistake was punished by a mishit cross and a career defining finish...Not much either the defence or Krul could've done IMO.

Can't see us not getting anything out of the game, just need to make sure we keep up the effort and intensity!

 

Great first half performance. Shame about the goal we conceded but can't complain at 64% possession and ten attempts to one. Should really be a couple to the good based on overall performance but I'll take it.

Blackburn defence is shocking I think we have a good chance of getting more in the second half.

Ba and Best seem to be forging a good partnership, linking up well and good movement from both of them!

 

Santon could be back next match and that mistake by Raylor could give Pardew the reason to replace him.

 

Obertan has been hot and cold for me. A few of his deliveries have been awful but some have been great, he's also scaring the hell out of them down his flank which is good.

Ba has looked awesome, was impressed last game too. He's starting to play like a complete striker, surprisingly good on his feet and quite skillful.

 

Hopefully we see more of Yohan 2nd half as well - was relatively quiet for his standards.

 

If we bring on Marv on the right, he is only goiing to cut in, which will make it easier for Givet, who has been given the run around by our right hand side.

Best/only one as far as I know. It skips for about 30 or so seconds every 5/10 minutes but otherwise is fine.

 

Firstrow worked properly 1/2 way thru the 1/2

 

He seems to not be going forward as much as he has done, probably because of our 2 man strikeforce. He's covered more ground than any other player though, and has made some good tackles. Still, wish he would score soon before my balls explode.

 

12 players have been piss poor.. Raylor and Blackburn...I do hope to see HBA Marv and Sammy get playing time in the second half..

Hopefully pards will keep them focused. Id be looking to get Marv and Ben arfa on sometime in the second half unless we bag another couple of goals.

 

I'm continuing my stance of don't throw Santon in at the deep end. Keep the current back four together and bring on Santon as a sub. We've got a great record, mistakes aside.

 

Game should be over already really. If we come out playing the same as the first half, but can stop giving the ball away so easily i can't see why we can't go on and score another couple.
