Is there a point to shutting schools?
Genuinely have no clue...all the views given seem to be guesswork.
We have been told to take all our devices home each night so we can do all our reports and planning etc if the school is shut.
The school have also set us up for online training courses for us to do if we shut.
Personally I would rather go to work.

I get it if cannot spread it, but surely school kids are a haven for germs on hands which then can be spread outside of school there after....... Lots of grandparents pick em up also because kids parents are probably in work.

Is it really worth the risk

I am 53 yrs old. Very few things have confused me to the point that I genuinely have no clue as to what I think.
The one I can think of are...

1. How did Kinnock fail to win the 1992 General Election ?
2. How can anyone seriously like Arsenal?
3. How did Jane Gilmore fancy Billy more than me back in 1978? He was a rat faced, smelly bastard...[HASHTAG]#overitnow[/HASHTAG]
4. Why did everyone lose their minds when Diana died in 1997?
5. This ****!

Is it genuinely as scary as is being presented...or is it being over hyped?
Honestly ... I can not make head nor tail of it.

Anyway ... gotta go hunt down some pot noodles and adult nappies seeing all the pasta and bog roll has gone :bandit:

I genuinely ain't got a clue mate...I know that during the hols that, cos lots of parents can not get time off work and do jobs where you can not work from home, grandparents look after kids so maybe that's why they are keeping the schools open.
My school is for kids who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues so can be violent and extremely spitty etc.
We are trained in safe restraint (not the pain compliance stuff that the police use) and regularly have to restrain kids who are attacking people or self harming so we are obviously at risk cos of the close contact we have.
Like I said I am at a complete loss as there is is much contradictory stuff around snd it changes day by day.

That's the feeling everyone got dude.......if we knew for a fact that this could wipe out a good percentage of the population then we could make the correct decisions for ourselves now but no sir Boris is not being a leader and seems to be the incapable imbecile I knew he was before morons thought it was funny to put this prick in control of our futures.

Then sack those taking the piss...5 days sick in 12 months is outrageous...when I was a union rep I went to countless meetings where stsff were being bullied, threatened and penalised for having 3 days off with a cold in February and another 2 days off the following January!
Not having a go at you mate but it has long been a bug bear of mine.

I remember unions taking workers aside at BAE for not taking their allotted 25 days sick.

I wasn't talking about people taking time off for a sniffle mate. I don't know anyone who tries to take time off for silliness but accept it happens...I defended people who were too ill to work for 5 days in a year and were at risk of losing their job.

To be fair, you said a cold.
