Back on topic; Now that they've changed the locks at the Valley so Matt Southall can't get back in, will HE Tahnoon Nimer be apppointing a new Chairman soon? And will that Chairman make getting the EFL transfer embargo lifted his No. 1 task? That would be ever so decent of him. One or two fans are getting just a tad concerned.
The Romanian dude seems favourite, Claudi Florini(or similar). His employment background is not too good it appears.
Has that Range Rover been given to wepaypeanutsforanycar . com yet? Their £250 cash will come in useful sooner rather than later methinks. Or did it still have outstanding finance...
The silence from the club since Friday has been deafening. Talk about treating the fans like mugs. I’d almost guarantee that the next we hear from “the club” is an illiterate late night Instragram rant from Nimer. This is no way to run a football club. Nimer should get his fat arse on a plane, and should be over at the Valley this week speaking to staff and answering the questions of all fans.
I imagine that things are quiet as Solicitors must be getting to work. However, as you have said quite rightly, Nimer should be over here now. Still never mind, @DickPlumb seems to think the SMT at Charlton have it all in hand.
He’s becoming a porcupine version of Ben Hayes ....who is also claiming to be on first name terms with the so called SMT. Is Ravi Oli still the Catering Manager ?
This EFL transfer (or registration) embargo is really troubling. A) I am troubled that it could have been kept so secret. I acknowledge it isn't the EFL's primary job to publicise the rulings it makes, but surely measures like this could be listed on an EFL 'news' page so that the likes of Matt Southall cannot deceive supporters into thinking all is well when plainly it is not. These EFL rulings should be open and public. B) I am hugely troubled that the embargo is still in place. This should be a matter of personal humiliation for HE Tahnoon Nimer. He may have served the Saudi Royal Family with distinction, but he isn't serving CAFC right now. And it's no good him just saying "I've sent them the proof, somebody else isn't playing straight". Why won't Nimer talk to CAST? Why won't he say anything at all? Do we even have 2% of his attention? Is he a mate of Jim White?
We know nothing, but we strongly suspect that Nimer hasn't got the finances to complete the takeover. Maybe he has no idea what to do now and is looking for backing which is unlikely to come given the publicity. In which case he has a decision to make about whether to throw good money after bad by paying the landlord whatever rent is due, or planning his exit. Just speculation, but the longer the silence continues the more speculation there will be along those lines.
The Romanian has previously been linked to money laundering. He will be ok at Charlton then. Theres f uck all money to launder.
