Celtic go into the SPL match against the Highlanders four points behind their bitter rivals having been comfortably beaten in last Sunday's Old Firm encounter. The team will have been boosted by a midweek League Cup win against Ross Country and will look to build on that. Charlie Mulgrew is suspended while Kelvin Wilson, Scott Brown and Kris Commons remain injury doubts. Georgios Samaras and Paddy McCourt are both available for selection following short term injuries. It's difficult to predict how Celtic will play today. The form this season has been erratic. They go into the match as overwhelming favourites but as St Johnstone showed earlier in the season the Glasgow giants can be vulnerable, even at home. Celtic have two very difficult games coming up with the arrival of Udinese on Thursday in the Europa League and an away trip to face Hearts at Tynecastle next Sunday. A win today would give them a real confidence boost.
What is going on with Kris Commons? I thought he was reported as 'tweeting' that he was 'fit' for the last game but now that seems not to be the case.
God knows. Maybe when the club say he's not fit they actually mean he's NOT FIT. He looks like he's spent the summer enjoying the best of what Glasgow chippies have to offer.
Commons needs to lose 2 stone, so do I but im not on 10 grand a week to play for Celtic. This Uefa Cup embarrassment is costing us big time, away to ibrox and now Tynecastle on the back of thursday games against class teams.
Thanks. I thought I could come in from the garden at 14:55 and find a link no bother. Contrary to popular opinion, I have a house. and a garden. And my own internet connection that i don't steal from neighbours.
