If they don't go up this season, Bielsa will be gone and they'll appoint Warnock......<whistle>

I think the season should be scrapped.

However I can see behind closed doors matches over a short period to finish it off.

    Maybe 2 or 3 games a week.

Problem is what happens next season?

    This isnt going away.

I'd agree with that but not the attempt to finish off the season BCD. It's very doubtful that games even BCD will resume on April 4th.

If there were just few games left then fair enough, but there are 9 to go plus the playoff contenders - just not enough time.

Next season scheduled to commence in August is still possible but there will be some very strange goings on in the lead up to then.

There’s no magic answer to this. It’ll be an ongoing debate for months. It’s assumed there’s nothing in the rules and so it’s unprecedented. Inevitably clubs with vested interests will shout the loudest and some may resort to legal challenges if they don’t get what they think is right.

It's a mess.....no one knows how long this is going to on for so it's just a day by day approach as we speak.

On a side note anyone who has older relatives around the South East Wales area that are unable to help out because of distance give me a shout if you want me dropping off essential stuff to them......dont be shy if we can't pull together in difficult times when can we.

Least I could do bro..... I think things are going to get difficult for the vulnerable and I'm not gonna sit on my arse when I can help.......hopefully this will just disappear as quickly as it started but looking at the government and the lack of facts .... I'm not convinced its in hand

No football or any other sport for that matter until early April at least. Supermarkets and corner shops have plenty of alcohol to sell.

Has anyone considered the consequences of this?

Absolute lack of sufficient divorce counsellors in the short term and nowhere near enough maternity units in 9 months' or so time. <yikes>

Well, what is a young red blooded male supposed to do?

I think we're going to see a few more statements like this. If the C19 virus progresses as predicted by some, I can't see any chance of professional football until June at the earliest. The implications of this are obvious to all but are also quite complex especially with regard to the summer transfer window. We don't want clubs being able to sign players for the remainder of the season. In my humble opinion, I think the season should be called null and void with no promotions or relegations unless the teams in question are completlely out of sight. As far as the championship is concerned, there are not any teams that are out of sight with 9 games to go. Now before you start on me, yes if the Bluebirds were in the same position as Leeds or WBA, I definitely have a different and more partisan opinion. However, I just think the the world and football is going to need quite some time to recover from this terrible pandemic.

We keep saying football is only a game, and largely it is.
However, it is also the livelihood for a lot of people.
Not thinking about the premier league stars, more the lower league players and the lower paid staff who oil the wheels. The cleaners, the cooks, etc, who earn a living, modest at best, from the clubs.

On a positive note, respect to Gary Neville and associates who have closed their hotel to the public and opened it up, for free, to essential workers. A generous move.
