Any idea how this would pan out? Would it just be the club, or the whole lot including the assets owned by Douchatelet? He would lose most of his money if this happened, which might make him think seriously about compromising on his demands. With the club separated from the ground it all seems too messy. If those buildings and the land are not owned by the Football Club, how could a receiver touch them?

Of course, if the buildings and the land were owned by the Football Club, there would be or receivers or administration.

As part of some kind of rescue package, Mr Duchatelet could offer the Valley and Sparrows Lane back to CAFC to occupy as tenants,
(at a very reasonable rate for the first few years no doubt).
Something which of course he never foresaw would happen, or would ever have planned to do.
After all we must remember, poor Roland has been as much an innocent victim of this as anyone else.

I can't think of a precedent to our situation. Admittedly it looks as though we're headed for the rocks, but I won't be sure of that until we have more clarity. The EFL as usual are a total waste of space, blanking CASTrust's attempts to involve them. BTW I already know CASTrust is held in low esteem on this forum.
