Do you think that if we had the players Man City had, were in the champions league like City and win almost every game like city, we'd sell out the SOL? It shocked me when I saw empty seats on their champions league debut.

To be fair I'd say every team would sell out if in that situation, Citys ground holds about the same as ours I think so it can only be down to how much the tickets are. Would be a nice choice though midweek CL game or PL on the Sunday?

yes we would for sure. They only got 25,000 v Birmingham the other night (carling cup), the competition mustn't be big enough for them now

No because those games clash with Emmerdale so you would have to get priorities right.

To be fair, I see attendances dropping in general all around the country.

Alot of poor folk have lost their jobs. I f you have only £100 a week left over after paying all the bills & food etc. Then no matter what your team are doing then that is still all you have.

IMHO, this Europa league thing is a big pile of utter ****e. One of those that drop down from the top four league will almost always win it.

Clubs like Fulham, Stoke, Boro etc, etc, have not got the squads to play an extra 15-20 games per season.

And the money that is on offer is pish as the Scottish people would say compared to the top four league.

Having said that, going back to the original question, if Sunderland or Newcastle were in the top four competition, then I would imagine there would be throats cut for tickets.
