Mini Play off competition between top half of the table to decide positions. Those making it to semi final get CL qualification. Winner gets the league title. Same for the bottom half to decide relegation. Played behind closed doors over the space of a few days before all the players get sick!
There must be something in the rules already for how qualifications and relegation get decided if the league gets cancelled?
2 of my best mates support Liverpool and Leeds respectively, cancelling the season would be excellent
The relegation one would be an interesting one. Presumably the losers go on to the next round with the loser in the final being relegated.
Yeah, you probably did. Football family and that. All those (corporate) fans, clutching their precious tickets. I get it, you love Engerland. Most don't care, instead of wringing our hands about a superfluous, instantly forgettable, international competition, why don't we just finish the domestic season and see what happens after that? We don't even have to leave the island to do it either.
I agree that I can't see it going ahead as it looks right now, I'm just saying it's clearly wrong to suggest that nobody cares about it. Plenty do. I'm sure plenty of normal fans have bought tickets for any of the 6 games at Wembley too. CL/EL should be first to go the way it's going.
Yep. Try and keep up. https://www.reuters.com/article/aus...declares-coronavirus-a-pandemic-idUSL4N2B44MX
Nah thanks. I always thought a Panademic killed millions. Not just a few. Anyway it's getting me overtime, so i couldn't give a **** about some fancy flu, and the mass hoards being brain washed by a media frenzy..
