Basically Nige resided over my favourite time as a Saints fan. Even the low times made the high times better. Though we didn't get too low when we were down or too high when we were up (well we may of )
Thank you Our Nige, who knows where we would be now without the massive contribution you, your coaching staff and your team made in the few years that you were at SFC. You will always be one of my favourite Saints and won't be ever forgotten in Southampton.
When we beat Brighton 3-0 at St. Mary’s with a Lambert hat-trick to make it 20 consecutive home wins. Taricco got a red for losing his head after we were awarded a penalty for a foul outside the box.
Watched half of it so far - goosebumps. He gets quite emotional about our promotion to the Premier League. Happy, happy days.
I bumped into Jos "always scores on Tuesdays" Hooiveld in Dublin a couple weeks ago and it brought back an array of memories from the Adkins era. Jos said he doesn't get back to Southampton too often but did say he needs to get back more!
