Christ.....I think I have a cold, with a hint of Flu, and a touch of Coronavirus.
Next question, where do I go?
Hospital, Hospital car park, GP, or upstairs! <laugh>

I'm not a habitual shares/stocks buyer, but I thought I'd buy an honorary2 or 3 Tesla shares as soon as I had some proper spare cash. I've followed Tesla stocks for several years and watched them go from $30 and up. Last September I knew that for the first time in several years I'd start to accumulate some spare. Tesla were at $250. To my horror, each week they climbed like crazy until just a month ago they sat at $968. So it was buy one token share or wait. Now, because of Covid-19 they are down to $627. It still grieves me that I missed that $250, but this might be the moment. Or maybe there's still another few weeks to wait.

That seems to be quite a high death rate, when compared to figures I have previously seen for the world.
Approximately 6%, compared to something like 3.4%, or am I using Beddy maths?

Is it me? I was watching the news on television and they had a corona virus thingy in the studio, it was about 4ft. In diameter and sort of purple and blue, bigger than a space hopper.....surely if you saw the bastard bouncing towards you could duck out of the way or get a stick and prod the fricking thing somewhere off...also the newsreader wasn't wearing a mask!

    Theyve actually done it.

An entire country shut down. Crazy.

It may sound it, but I just spoke to my cousins in the Naples area and they are really worried - not so much for them, but the older people. My 85 year old aunt etc.

I think you need drastic measures to stop it spreading. However, there is a balance..this could affect lives financially for years to come.

Oh sorry, I was just exclaiming that it's crazy that this has happened, not that they are crazy for doing it. Looking at the numbers of people in critical condition, I applaud them for being brave enough to do it.

Yep not knocking your answer. I think there is a balance - total shutdown has far reaching implications.

I can see us going the same way soon unfortunately/fortunately. Not sure which way yet.
