So you get to pick a team of 11 players and can use any formation as long as it has at least 3 defenders. This will be open ended and managed by yourself. So ongoing bragging rights is the only prize. This includes the English Italian German French and Spanish leagues. Basic Points. League Win 10 points Domestic Cup Win (League Cup not included) 5 points CL Win 15 points Europa Cup Win 5 points So there is a certain amount of points you can get by adding the whole Liverpool team at the moment or being savvy and adding all the Bayern players BUT. Bonus Points Player sold who then wins one of the above with his new club plus 25 points Under 21 year old and plays 50% of games in one of the competitions plus 15 points Top Scorer in any competition plus 10 points 1st team League debut for a youth player plus 50 points So can you pick the stars of the future? Post up your scores and I'll sort out a final league at the end of each season. Making this up as I go along so may have to adjust things and happy to consider any suggestions. You pick a new team once the season is over at any point during pre-post season.
Maybe, it's just once a season though. Pick a team of players who you think will be win competitions but get yourself extra points by picking the players that are going to make the big moves or youth players who you think will make the step up. So player knowledge is key and spotting ability is key.
The rest of this season will be a bit of a trial and if it works and is fun then I'll keep it going next season.
Example then. Alisson TAA Gomez VVD Robbo Messi Sancho Isco Werner Haaland Immobile Easy enough to pick the Liverpool back 4 or PSG for example but next season you could look to someone like Upamecano from Leizpig or Koulibaly from Napoli and if they get a move and a trophy you get the bonus points. Same in the middle, if you think we will win the league again and Curtis Jones will step up then he's worth more points. Up top you may go Werner and he moves to Liverpool and gets top scorer then again bonus points over someone who's already with us. Vinicus Jr at RM would have got you big bonus points this season.
