Why's it cancelled, where and when were they intending on going?

Venice.

Everyone has just decided Italy is too ****ed atm.

I'd like to go and visit my mate and his wife in Vienna but I'm not so sure now.

I don't generally let things get in the way!

Oh Venice, I see. I expect the next significant update will be on the 3rd April for that region.

The problem with travelling is getting stuck abroad if you get the plague. My folks have cancelled their next couple of trips to Spain. They have their own place there so they'd be comfortable but they're old and don't want to be trapped away from home.

When everything gets back to normal we will see how quickly it is all forgotten and complacency sets in !
Pretty quickly id guess.
It should be a lesson for the future to be prepared because another one of these outbreaks wont be that many years away .

Why are people stockpiling bog roll? Everyone has to wipe their arse but surely there are more important things to stockpile going into a lock down situation. Like food. And wine.

Where have you booked to go?

I’ve got Tenerife booked. Looking at Spain flights at the moment. Just came back from Germany. And I’ve been taking a look at places further afield to see what kind of discounts are available, I’d like to get over to any of the Pacific islands or failing that Australia (which I was planning on anyway later in the year) but I’m currently waiting for the spread to get worse in the hope the flights will keep dropping!

To be honest I’m open to going anywhere that’s cheaper than normal!
