Anyone else watching Gaizka Mendieta on Soccer AM? Forgetting the smoggy allegiances, I've always liked the guy and he seems like such a humble genuine chap. Also, incredibly knowledgeable and I have to say I like the idea of this programme he's behind. Where they train English players in Spain, in everything from skills and tactics to the language. Top guy and how about that goal against Barca?
Nice bloke and another who still lives in the North East. The programme sounds genius, especially teaching them the language, English players actually learning anything would be a start rather than pretty much giving up at 13-14 when you sign schoolboy papers for a club.
What restrictions? I didn't know there was any?! Is this something to do with hours kids can train, or something? I must plead ignorance on this subject.
