    He is right you know.
You only have to look at the parallel rises of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson at Liverpool.

TAA constantly gets gushed about by every pundit, commentator etc
Where as Robertson, though he gets plaudits, he gets nowhere near as many, because he is Scottish.

I dont give a **** though really, media coverage like that can go to your head, especially early on in your career, and especially when he gets a bumper contract and starts earning £100k a week.
I'd rather he focused on his football.

**** that, if someone is prepared to pay me 100k a week then I’m going to enjoy it whilst I’m young. **** this waiting til I’m retired bollocks.

New Ferrari every week, insta models getting Fosse’d daily, loads of holidays. Turn up to training if I fancy it

It was funny watching Keano talking about young players having their heads turned by agents and women while Micah Richards, who seemed to retire when he was about 22, squirmed in his seat.

Would the modern player accept that though? From his track record in management I'd say it doesn't.

I just like his sense of confusion over the modern day player, he doesn't understand why they don't just want to play football and give their all.
