His distribution isn't quite as good, but might be better with saves, doesn't worry me at all, and I believe he will get better.
Remember watching this friendly on TV, laughing at Batty winding em up. A good read and watch. https://www.planetfootball.com/nostalgia/forensic-analysis-david-batty-bullying-sampdoria/
Shakes was saying an early goal was needed. I have admit Ayling has upped his game and stood up for the team. Him and klich have moved up a gear and become the leaders we needed. Costa puts some lovely passes in to the box to team mates in better positions. Ben White was sheer class yesterday and my man of the match. Jack Harrison looks so peed off as he keeps hitting the posts. If we remain injury free to our first choice players then it could be autos and I wanted us to win the league. Huddersfield were rubbish and we should have had more goals. The fans were singing as they left the ground and on to Elland Rd. Leeds are going up and town are going down was the favoured chant.
Difficult to tell Eire on the limited time I've seen Meslier, he looks a confident young man. One fumble he can be forgiven for yesterday, his distribution is good but we all witnessed that part of his game at the Emirates
My thinking is he’ll at least be as good overall as Kiko and with age on his side, Will likely improve. Kiko at his age is as good as he’s going to be. Also from little I’ve seen Meslier handling appears far more confident
Meslier is the superior "old school" keeper. He catches crosses, he saves shots. Just a solid keeper. Casilla probably edges distribution but not by much and Casilla will be more of a modern "sweeper keeper" who will nip an attack at the bud before chances are created. It depends what floats your boat but I am certainly happier with the more solid Meslier between the sticks. It must calm the defenders down knowing where your keeper is. Casilla is like Grobelaar, you never know where the feck he is gonna turn up. As for the little fumble yesterday. The ball hit a divot on the edge of the 6 yard box and jumped up at him. A bit like that Tim Flowers one where it bounces over him in to the goal. I miss the old pitches!
Going up, going down, the Leeds are going up and the Town are going down. Brilliant day out, great to meet up with Wakey. Southstand was rockin as usual.

Glad you survived Wakey, you're an adopted Irishman anyway... See you May for the promotion party.....
