I heard on the news that a regional Australian newspaper printed an edition with two extra blank pages- fantastic response to the panic.
Just read comments spewing from Donald Trump about Covid-19. He combines being self-centred with being totally unself-aware....not an easy thing to pull off. Nothing unusual about American presidents being unintelligent, but he manages to be both below average (nowt wrong with that) and stupid....without the ability to listen to people better informed than himself. Now that is dangerous.

Takes a couple months for news to reach the island that is portsmouth! After that cheap shot, I think I'll add well done to them. First shop that's not be looted in England by recent accounts. Perhaps they are the last remnants of calm.

I'll be working from home, even though 50% of my job can't really be done remotely so it'll be fairly unproductive. The University will be closed though if the current spread patterns continue, so there won't be any option to do otherwise.
