I wouldn't sell either, it's you and Mr. Shop saying they will be sold.
If Almiron ever starts playing like he did in the cup, he is a definite keeper, however, imagine in 40 games time, he has only doubled his Premier league tally to 2 goals and 2 assists. Even you must agree, a winger he ain't. He cannot be the number 10 equivalent of the 'non scoring centre forward' that was Emile Heskey.
I never quote myself, but Pre Burnley I predicted a change in fortune as soon as the old pros get back in the team. I cannot fathom how anyone sees either Longstaff as even potentially better than Shelvey. Just look at attempts on goal for the last 2 Premier League games. Look at possession yesterday (and yes i know it was against 10). If our strikers start scoring, then Europe beckons.
You have moved on with the FA cup (you old plastic :) ). It's now time to move on from the anti Bruce bollocks. A remarkable job in such a difficult situation.
No more threat of relegation for 2/3 plus of the season, no more miracles, no more public maligning of players.
It hasn't been very pretty, but positives are there all over the place.

what you think is irrelevant because you cannot see a good performance unless a player scores a goal... the fact is hes a model pro, a full international and cash in time will arrive. thats how it works.

I am, but I meant if things didn't change. They did, I'm glad they did, Bruce has proved a lot of people wrong including me. Genuinely had, in my eyes, the look and feel of a relegation disaster with that 5-4-1 bollocks. Massive turnaround.

I think you are perhaps over selling Bruce. He's done a solid job.

What I'd say is that Bruce has put into stark perspective the performance of previous managers, and also highlighted just how much this owner restricts us. When we look back to Pardew now, I think even those who hated him with a vengeance must grudgingly admit they were wrong. Pardew played the best football of any manager in terms of entertainment from 2009-2020. He also achieved the highest league position and delivered European football. He was the most consistent in keeping us out the relegation battle. It also puts Rafa's performance into perspective. There were those waxing lyrical treating him like a god. They said no one could have achieved what he did under that regime. Bruce has walked in and after 29 games, he's out performing him.

All said and done, when their careers are done, Rafa will sit well above Bruce and Pardew in terms of their respective achievements in the game. Even allowing for Rafa's best days being behind him (they are), you'd have to think a manager of his ability would out perform Bruce/Pardew regardless of circumstance. So that begs the question, what is the equalising factor that has dragged Rafa's level down to and below these two run of the mill managers?

    Mike Ashley.

    Is that an old saying??
Like, " never lend your grandmother your wife"
    Or
"It's better to be wrong than wrong again"
    Or
"Never buy shoes from a butcher"

    ??

    Tbf it's seen far worse:

    Chelsea under Mourihno
Any team managed by Sam Alladyce
    Mackems under Moyes
    Us under Carver
    Us under Dalgleish
    Spurs under Christian Gross
