Listening to that interview, lost count of the number of times he said 'it's as simple as that'. In which case Terry do it!
The post match interview is staggering. What a ****ing idiot. I dislike McCann more and more with every post match interview.
Have you been to St George’s Park? Yes. I didn't mean the hotel (which for this lot should be a Travelodge) more the sports science stuff, the hydro pools and all that, which they don't get at City. And the SGP facility is how it should be (as you say), but for those at their peak whose performances for their respective clubs (youth, female, male) have deservedly seen them promoted to represent their country. Not for ****ers whose performances stink the place out and as soon as they are out of contract will **** off, not say you know what I contributed to the Hull fans suffering, I'll stay and do summat about it.
Husband has started saying maybe it is time to stop our passes. To be honest I have never really warmed to McCann, don't know what it is but he just has never seemed up for it or particularly inspiring. No personality there.
It's not the arrogance. Arrogance can be a good thing. Most winners are arrogant after all. It's not the evasiveness. I'd expect a manager to not answer direct questions about losing the fans and getting the sack. He's hardly going to say 'yep, I've lost the fans, the players and all hope, sack me now', is he? No, what alarms me about that interview is his utter cluelessness. There's no way he's capable of turning this round, because as his hollow, vacuous answers reveal, he has absolutely no idea about what to change, what to keep, what to say to the players, how to motivate them, how to plan to defeat a particular team or, indeed, any clue about how to run a football team. He's toast. Or brown bread. What a ****ing muffin.
Just remind you, boy wonder Ehab let Brucie and Adkins walk from the club. What a muppet. What’s your valuation now Ehab?
The post match interview with McCann't sums him up tbh ... he has no idea how to change .. he has no idea how to put things right .. so he blames the players he picks and puts into a system that everyone including the blind can see doesnt fir with what we have. Yet he thinks it will turn around ... how ? Out of his depth .. clueless tactically and should have been gone a long time ago .. naive stupid arrogant .. call it what you will .. but definitely not good enough.
No words to fully describe that shower of **** today. Other than what a spineless gutless bunch of ****s everyone of them on that pitch where today. The manager has to go he is ****ing clueless.
You're advocating mutiny now, that never ends well. Imagine, Terry says go out and do this, after 5 mins Irvine says to the lads lets do summat else, 5 mins later Irvine gets hooked.
GRANT MCCANN ADMITTED HIS HULL CITY SIDE GOT WHAT IT DESERVED AS A ‘LACKLUSTRE’ PERFORMANCE WAS PUNISHED WITH A BIG DEFEAT AT [INSERT TEAM ] ON [INSERT] DAY. The Tigers found themselves [INSERT NUMBER] goals down inside [INSERT] minutes and never looked like recovering as they remain just above [ BELOW / IN] the Sky Bet Championship drop zone. “We were poor and there’s no point hiding behind it,” said McCann. “Just the basics in terms of picking up the first and second balls, their front three winning a lot of headers which they’re not renowned for. We were lacklustre and we got what we deserved from it. “The first goal is soft – we’ve let a runner go on the far side to put a free cross into the box and we don’t see [INSERT NAME / TEAM] at the far post. The second is from a penalty and, although it looked like [INSERT EXCUSE] on our player, it was a handball and we have no complaints. “We looked all over the shop in that first 15 or 20 minutes. We’re a little bit low and a little bit flat so we need to pick them up. Confidence is a bit low after recent results. “For large spells in the second half we played [INSERT DELUSIONAL WORD] and we had a couple of opportunities, but again we switch off and they score a [INSERT NUMBER] of goals. “We have to dust ourselves down because we have [INSERT NUMBER] big games to go and we need to find our way again because we’ve lost it a little bit. We need to concentrate on working hard to get out of this rut that we find ourselves in.”
There are so many reasons he has to go. One question id have asked if I was Burnsy was 'we paid an exorbitant loan fee and wages for Marcus Maddison, last week (might have been the week before) you said it wasn't a game for him, was that the case today?' Don't get me wrong, I think Maddison is probably more arrogant than McCann, thats why P'Boro's bossed slagged him off and he might not of made a bit of difference to the result today, but if you've worked with people before and encouraged the club to s***k away a massive loan fee, is McCann telling us the players are playing for him...? ... I can't blame the club for selling Bowen and Grosicki, we all knew it was coming, but HE is culpable for some dire recruitment along with his darling 'Lee' and thats led to this ****ing awful situation. That and the fact he couldn't manage a paper round.
