So for those of you,who want to see more goals from the Tigers,i ask.Would you rather see six goals from in tomorrows game, and get a point,or us win 1-0 and get three ?
I'd take 1-0 everytime, just watched the game, great match for the neutral, thought Mackail-Smith was superb !!! A draw for these two team was probably best result for us City fans too, TWS would have gone above us had they won and if Brighton had won they would have pulled further away from us at the Top.
Good result for us that. And no we shouldn't abandon the defensive discipline NP and the coaches have worked so hard to instill into the team. We all want more goals but not at all costs. Just ask the Leeds fans whether they would sacrifice a few goals for a water-tight defence.
A goal fest would be good, but i would take the 3 points first (though a point away from home isn't bad). If we did draw 3-3 or something the moaners would still probably moan!
If we won 4-3 at Bristol our forwards would gain more confidence but our defenders would lose a lot of confidence.
draw shares the points so best result, wow no red cards for Leeds tonight - just the 5 yellows.. that said Brighton had 5 as well so must thave been a bit niggly..
Very surprising actually, as the ref let the game flow where best he could (sometimes to the disadvantage of the side he was supposedly helping).
I'd snap your hand off for hree 1 nil wins in the next three games v Bristol, Donny and Cardiff. What's bad about that? It's three wins and three clean sheets. The teams around us are already conceding alot, so the GD can't be that much different.
id take 1-0 Win all season. I thought the ref was crap tonight and that he was just card happy! at least 5 of the yellows shown should not of been shown!!
Call me old fashioned but I thought it was an entertainment industry. Don't get me wrong, I want City to win every game but I definitely want to be entertained in the process. Otherwise we may as well all follow the tiddly-winks league in a tribal fashion.
I didnt realise Blackpool were playing Leeds last night. I couldve sworn it was the Seagulls of Brighton instead. BTW, I'm stunned that nobody else pointed this out.
They are by the seaside, so I doubt anyone gave it much thought. Blackpool aren't the only Seasiders, it's also the nickname of Whitby Town FC and Bangor FC.
Brighton fans call themselves seasiders, and use the sea, sea seasiders chant. It's voted their best ring tone. Brighton fan chants
But if someone said to anyone in professional football "how did the Seasiders get on?" they would think they meant Blackpool. Fact.
Not if they asked how they'd got on last night against TWS, especially if they were from Brighton. Fuct.
