    I still cant understand why there cancelling sports events due to large gatherings yet 5 million journeys are taken on the London Underground every day ?

    Jobs. The economy will suffer anyway, but there's no point in exacerbating it. The recovery won't be harmed if we keep things as normal as possible while we ride this out until a vaccine is available.

    A second person in the UK is believed to have died from coronavirus, according to reports.

    The man was understood to be in his late 80s, had underlying health conditions and died at Milton Keynes Hospital, the Milton Keynes Citizen reported.

    Doctors are awaiting official test results to confirm if it was a case of COVID-19.
