Danny Cowley's men are in good recent form having beaten Bristol City 2-1, and thumping the Addicks 4-0, but still sit fifteen places below the Whites, and are four points from the drop zone. Leeds Manager Marcelo Bielsa has a big decision to make up front. Patrick Bamford has scored 12 goals in 38 appearances in league and Cup competitions this season; but twice in his last 13, both against Millwall at the end of January! With January's 20m rated Striker Jean-Kevin Augustin injured (now with a hamstring injury), Bielsa put his faith in Tyler Roberts. The 21yo has had a torrid time with injuries since signing just over two years ago; but the Argentine's faith was rewarded when the Welsh International scored a brace having come on as a second half substitute against Hull last weekend. Illan Meslier will continue between the sticks for at least the next seven games as Casilla serves out his eight game ban.
I have been offered a ticket and of course I said yes.once again my overseas fellow whites have made it possible.my season record so far won one ,,lost one....watch this space.
Pretty obvious Bielsa will start with the same 11? If we win our next two games I’m starting the promotion party early
There’s too much jubilation on here for my liking as far as I’m concerned it’s not over till it’s over, many a slip between cup and lip as the saying goes and I won’t even mention the fat lady We’ve waited so long don’t jinx it or I won’t speak to you ever again
Roberts came on with just over 20 minutes to go when the Hull players were getting knackered. Controversial - but I'd stick with Bamford to start.
4 wins on the bounce....... very unlike us to start making it look easy. I reckon Hudders might scrape a draw here. It's not easy winning 5 in a row.
It’s hard not to think of the games we had last season against top teams and we fluffed our lines. Maybe it’s for the better and keeping most from getting carried away
Seasons over, we are guaranteed a top 2 place and likely to be announced as champions soon when WBA crack. Huddersfield may as well not turn up, it’s going to be embarrassing.
