    Nothing to do with overrating ourselves at all, but much to do with the assessment of the opposition, and you are pedestrian against teams with pace and possession, not to mention your weak deffensive back line, which could not hold out against Manu for 10 minutes this season and last season also, your current team will not get you a top 4 position this season in my view, and your manager is in cloud Cuckoo land when he reckons you where the best team at old Traford, now that made me laugh, Manu made you look like a League 2 side on times, and your tactics were at least 'naive and stupid', but he's clearly deluded when he thinks you were superior for the 90 minutes, yes Swansea are certainly no Manu, but you'll find that if he comes out of the blocks as naive as he did at Old Traford, then we'll take all three points, thank you very much!......

    Have to disagree with that, Phil. Chelsea could well have got a result at Man Utd - they had plenty of chances and a number of pundits reckoned they might have won on another night. I also believe that Chelsea (not a fan by the way) are nailed on for a Euro spot this season. I just hope that we don't contribute to their cause.

    As an aside, one of my mates who IS a Chelsea fan has offered me 10-1 and the draw. Had to have £20 on that so I'm hoping that you are right.

    You're right Ginger, it should have read:

    Chelski 1 ..............................Swans 3
    Drogba (57)...........................Lita (11)
    ..........................................Sinclair (46)
    ..........................................Allen (90 + 4)
    <ok>

    I've just watched the pre-match review on ChelseaTV, with interviews with Scott Sinclair, Leon Britton and Brendan Rodgers and they all looked doe -eyed about returning to SB , particularly Leon Britton. I dont think there can be many Blues who dont think well of any of these guys and for that reason I think we should ease off once were 3-0 up!

    BM2 - Is that an actual 3-0, or the goals you would have scored if you had taken all your chances <ok>

    Ivor we have agreed on a lot things this last season or so, and I know I'm out on a limb with this one, but I'm sticking to my gut feeling on this, I've read the pundits views, I've listened to many Jacks regarding this game, and the performance of Chelsea against Manu, and while there are those that will sight the fact that Chelsea had the better stats on goal, and the Manu goals were offside, the fact is Chelsea did not win, and they were second best in the final third, as the 10 shots at goal proved, only 1 hit the target, you can moan all night about the lines man and ref, as you know we had this problem under Sousa, when we were so light in the final third that these decisions cost us, but it's no good Chelsea fans blaming officials, the fact is they did not take their chances, and Manu did, that's without getting into the general run of play, where I think Manu were streets ahead of Chelseaa. We are going to SB to play a Chelsea team that are not at their best and the pressure is on them to get a result, and there are areas we can attack, and I will stick with my prediction of a 2-1 win to Swansea, if we lose 3-0 as many Jacks have been saying then fine, I'll admit I was wrong, but I don't see a strong Chelse team anymore, both Chelsea and Arsenal will have a tough season in my view!....................

    PS: I was down the Valley in Bishopston tonight, sampling some of their fine ales, and one Jack reckons Torres will get a hat-trick, I reckoned he would not get one goal, thus a heavy debate ensued, which resulted in a fiver on him scoring one goal or not!.....................

    Yankee, I get them off random websites! I spend a lot of time trawling for new football news online so I come across some cool stuff.

    I am very excited about today. Woke up to storm clouds today, hope that's an omen that something spectacular is going to happen a the Bridge.

    I think judging any team on their performance against Man Utd at the moment is fraught with danger! Especially such a heavily assembled star laden team as Chelsea. This is a game I'd love if I was a footballer. Everyone is expecting you to lose, so anything you do on top of thar is a bonus.

    Dyer to leave Cole on his arse, I'm telling you...

    Scott,

    John Hollins is often in Verdi's in Mumbles - once a Jack, always a Jack!

    Hah! Yeah? Quality! Is he still living this way then? Last I heard he was Weymouth manager but that was a few years ago.
