He's just sitting there making noises pretending to do stuff. In a few hours time (after his siesta), he'll just screw it on properly with the washer like Mon was told to do and walk off with 200€.

You still owe me for my IT supporting btw @monacoger

The reason I said it was I thought it was Mick who said it the other day. To be honest, I didn't think you were capable.

We had an engineer out for our combi boiler and asked about annual servicing. He said it was an utter waste of money and we'd be better off putting the cash aside to buy a new boiler in a few years time as he reckoned modern ones are not built to last. Gutted I got rid of the 20 year old Potterton when we did the extension, that thing was bulletproof but we needed the space that the immersion tank took up.

Rumour has it, the last time you talked about getting rid of your old boiler, the police came round and dug up your patio...

    .
Yeah the older ones where great .
My neighbours was in for getting on for 30 years .
    Got an Ideal Logic .
Thought I'd ho with the 2 year guarantee as it was a few hundred quid cheaper but the same boiler as the longer guarantee ones .
2 years and 3 months later the heat exchange went and cost me over £200 quid .
Will get a Bosch next time .
