TBF to Kiko, he's no History before as far as I know. To me it was all said in the heat of the moment, of course because of todays generation he chose the wrong word to say, but it's only a word and he probably regrets saying it. If he had apologised after the match to the sambo and said it was out of character and let me buy you a beer or a banana milkshake, it would have been sorted out there and then. Now if he did it again then I would agree to punish him.
Jonathan Leko has questioned the time it took the Football Association to ban Leeds United goalkeeper Kiko Casilla for racially abusing him. Casilla was banned for eight matches and fined £60,000 after being found guilty by an independent regulatory commission - but it took 22 weeks. West Bromwich Albion's Leko, 20, was on loan at Charlton when the offence took place against Leeds on 28 September. "I found the hearing extremely stressful," Leko said in a statement. "It made me question whether I would be prepared to go through it all again were I on the receiving end of similar abuse in the future. "I have been disappointed with the amount of time it has taken to reach this point. "I certainly would think twice about how to advise another player placed in the same situation. "Knowing what occurred that day, it has been difficult to watch Kiko Casilla continue to play for such a lengthy period as if nothing had happened. "I was racially abused in a manner which shocked me and still angers and upsets me to this day." 'Some support would have been welcome'
You just have to take a look at leko's face and he looks ready to burst into tears. Whilst I don't agree with racist behaviour and online abuse I do feel that leko is just a sh-t stirrer and in my book he deserves all the abuse he gets. The kangaroo court is over no one is happy with the result but time everyone moved on.
It’s a really tricky one, on here those that meet up for games and who know each other enjoy banter with Irish, Welsh, Scottish and English jokes and although it has a racist slant it’s all said with no malice. I do wonder if we have any black members on here and if we do how do they genuinely feel about some of the comments and what is said in here. I get as frustrated as the next person when the race card is played too often so where is or should the line be drawn? One part of me feels Kiko is guilty, he deserves his ban, he did say it, the other part wonders if he was misheard or where is the concrete evidence? Like it or not, the world is changing and you just can’t get away with saying a lot of the stuff that was acceptable in the 80s

Your opinion is equally as important mate and I guessed it didn’t bother you by your reply to Eire. I think some of the Irish jokes have been cutting at times so if you’d taken offence I’d have understood and BTW I’m not starting a witch hunt, it’s just we have had a couple of complaints about racism material before. I’m going back several weeks now and it wasn’t anything you’d posted either
